About Marius Filmalter

Marius Filmalter is a short game instructor to many PGA, LPGA and Champions Tour golfers which include Tiger Woods, Ernie Els, Mike Weir, Chad Campbell, YE Yang, Ryan Palmer and Trevor Immelman to mention only a few. He is an inventor of the SAM PuttLab and the TOMI putting system (www.tomiproseries.com) which scientifically captures the most important parameters of a putting stroke. Marius has devoted the last 20 years studying and researching the performance of golfers, in particular the fine motor skill movements utilized in the putting motion. He has measured and analyzed more than 500 professionals and countless amateurs to establish the criteria for a successful putting stroke. (www.supertee.com)

Marius recently received the 2009 Golf Magazine Innovator of the Year award and is now writing monthly articles for the Golf Magazine.

Scott's career in teaching has been shaped from years of studying with the great instructors and their writings through the years - Tommy Armour, Percy Boomer, Ben Hogan, Claude Harmon, Butch Harmon, Dick Harmon, David Leadbetter, Rick Smith, Hank Haney, Jimmy Ballard, Marius Filmalter, Dr. Richard Coop, Dr. David Cook, Chuck Hogan, among others. His ever thirst for knowledge of how to communicate the fundamentals of the techniques and the intricacies of the game in a simple, easy to understand manner has made Scott an instructor known for “getting results fast.” His expertise as a club fitter enhances his ability to ensure his clientele have every possibility to play their best!

 

About Sehan Filmalter

Based in The Colony, Texas, Sehan is a certified instructor for the Marius Golf Academy at the Old American Golf Club. Sehan has a broad base of knowledge acquired from his father, PGA Professional Instructor, Marius Filmalter.

In addition to instruction, Sehan is Assistant Instructor of the Marius Golf Junior Programs held at the Old American.  Before his arrival in the United States in 2007, Sehan completed the Golf Directorship and Club Management program in his hometown of Pretoria, South Africa which focused on Swing Theory, Golf Technology, Sports Science and Nutrition, and Club and Business Management. Completion of this program accredits to the PGA Professional Golf Management Program in which Sehan is a candidate.  He was then employed by Boca West Country Club and Glen Oaks Country Club in Florida and Long Island, New York, respectively.

Currently, Sehan continues to study under and assist his father, Marius, in establishing the best practices to achieve putting success.
